Management & Business Studies
The Management and Business Studies offer in the MGS includes distinct pathways for Management & Business and Finance, which each have specific subject training requirements. Nottingham University Business School (NUBS) is extremely well resourced, with research students housed in high quality and well provisioned research rooms based on the University's Jubilee campus.
With a large and extremely active postgraduate community, comprising nearly 100 postgraduate research students and over 500 masters students, there is an excellent atmosphere in the School which fosters research excellence across the board.
All students are embedded in an academic division, based on their supervisor's research expertise and the school encourages students to work closely with their supervisors to provide joint output in the basis of refereed conference and academic journal papers. PhD students have been very successful in publishing their work in leading journals such as The Economic Journal and the Journal of Management Studies.
Interested applicants should approach prospective supervisors relevant to their topic area.
