Research Interests
Research in my lab focuses on uncovering the molecular mechanisms of G-protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs). I am particularly interested in Family A and B receptors and their modulation by receptor activity-modifying proteins (RAMPs). My group combines molecular pharmacology, biochemistry and polymer nanotechnology to interrogate ligand binding, receptor activation, and macromolecular interactions. A key strand of my research investigates how lipid composition and membrane dynamics modulate receptor trafficking and signalling.
