Research Interests
My research examines applied sport and exercise science, with a primary focus on biomechanics, strength and conditioning, and injury prevention. I investigate cervical spine function, neck strength, and head accelerations in elite and contact sports to understand and mitigate concussion risk, and translate these findings into preventive and recovery strategies across the lifespan, from youth to older adults. This work integrates biomechanics, physiology, and performance analysis to advance safety, optimise training, and inform evidence-based practice in professional sport and wider populations.MIBTP Project Details
