Join us for the inaugural event in this new series, where we discuss:

How do political leaders act as 'performers' of the climate crisis?

Théo Aiolfi will present his current research, where he looks at this question through the lens of populism, understood as a political style, to consider the innovative way these actors combine left-wing radicalism, environmental politics, and feminism to articulate a global people united against an unresponsive elite. This will be followed by a brief response from Soraya Hamdaoui, who is interested in questions of anti-populism and demophobia. We will have space, after the exchange, for some open discussion.

Snacks and drinks will be provided.
