Steering Group

Strategic development of the Centre is overseen by a Steering Group consisting of the three Heads of Department for Computer Science, Mathematics, and Statistics; the Centre Director; and the Programme Manager & Knowledge Exchange Champion. The Centre Manager acts as Secretary to this group.

Executive Committee

The Centre is supported by an Executive Committee who generously give their time and expertise to help CAMaCS in the areas listed to the right.

Responsibilities

  • Advocate for CAMaCS externally and internally;

  • Bring opportunities for CAMaCS to pursue as part of its strategy (both from within the University and externally);

  • Agree on topics for workshops and mode of delivery, linking this to CAMaCS' strategy;

  • Assist CAMaCS to develop schemes and incentives across its streams of activity;

  • Assist CAMaCS in rationalising and supporting the growth of its InRA community;

  • Assist CAMaCS in rationalising and supporting the growth of any affiliated academic positions;

  • Assist CAMaCS on rationalising expenditure of any surplus finances;

  • Assess applications for Fellowships and provide guidance on their award;

  • Advise CAMaCS on its ED&I strategy;

  • Comment on content of reports and webpages;

  • Assist CAMaCS in formulating its own Key Performance Indicators;

  • Advise on the management structure of CAMaCS as appropriate and commensurate with the development and organic evolution of the Centre.
