Trapping & Removal of X-ray Contrast Medium Agents from Water Resources & Stream Sediments: New Concept in Trapping, Recycling, and Management
What is REMEDI?
REMEDI is an EU-funded research project aimed at training early-stage researchers and future professionals in the domain of competitive use of water resources within an industrial environment, focusing on water scarcity provoked by pharmaceutical contamination.
The REMEDI project is an Innovative Training Network (ITN) funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action (MSCA) framework. The project is a joint effort between the environmental company TAUW GmbH, the Polytechnic University of Milan and the University of Warwick.
Under the programme, five Early Stage Researchers (ESR), from different countries and scientific backgrounds, will be enrolled in European Industrial Doctorate (EID) PhD programs to be conducted across the boundary between academia and industry. The PhD programs will feature secondments in industry partners, which will contribute to developing the non-academic skills of the researchers.
