I am working on motion planning and control of autonomous vehicles in the intelligent vehicle lab at WMG.
My Research
My area of research is in designing the motion planning and control system of self-driving vehicles. Given the perceived environment, the autonomous vehicle needs to make decisions and planning the optimal driving actions reactively while dealing with various dynamic constraints imposed by the driving scenario and context, nonholonomic kinematics, etc. My research focuses on developing two major modules of tactical decision making (TDM), and trajectory planning in addition to integrating them in the control architecture.
