Welcome to Dr Chidozie Nduka!
We asked Chidozie to introduce himself:
My research Interests are: Evidence synthesis, cardiovascular epidemiology in people living with HIV, statistical epidemiology
After my undergraduate studies in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) and a few years practicing as a physician, I went on to study for a Masters in Public Health (MPH) at the University of Warwick, achieving both a distinction and the University of Warwick Chancellor’s Scholarship award to commence doctoral (PhD) studies. During my doctoral training, I became fascinated by the concept of pooling multiple sources of quantitative data to synthesise evidence for decision making. For my doctoral thesis, I investigated a plausible causal link between antiretroviral therapy and high blood pressure in people living with HIV using observational data. This entailed a series of large-scale evidence syntheses and primary epidemiological studies. I continue to maintain an interest in these methodologies, while working on health technological assessments with Warwick Evidence.
