Course on Network Meta-Analysis
Warwick Evidence welcomes members of WMS to take part in a course on Network Meta-Analysis (for absolute beginners):
Network meta-analysis, or multiple treatments meta-analysis, has quickly become an important approach to evidence synthesis. It extends ‘standard’ meta-analyses comparing one intervention against one comparator to include all relevant interventions and comparators. In the morning of this one-day course, we will introduce key concepts, assumptions and methods in network meta-analysis, including data display, and in the afternoon, we will demonstrate how to implement this method using the package -network- in Stata. This course is aimed at absolute beginners, so all you need beforehand is a working understanding of ‘basic’ meta-analysis and regression.
The course will take place on the 22nd September from about 10:00 – 16:00 in WMS B052. G. J. Melendez-Torres will lead the course and is looking forward to seeing you there.
If you are a member of Warwick Medical School, you are invited to come to the course, but please confirm your interest as soon as possible as places are limited. Attendance is free and lunch will be provided.
