Annual Epidemiology Reports
The OHCAO registry publishes annual reports on the epidemiology, key process variables and outcomes for OHCA using anonymous data submitted from participating ambulance services.
Annual Surveys - Attitudes to CPR use
To supplement the data collected by OHCAO, we conduct an annual survey about the UK public’s attitudes towards cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and publicly accessible defibrillator (PAD) use. We assess the proportion of the population who have or have not trained in, CPR of PAD use, their characteristics and their levels of willingness/confidence to call the ambulance service and to use their CPR or PAD skills.
The OHCAO team has produced a showcase document to summarise the activities, progress and achievements of the registry for the first 5 years (2014 to 2018).

Government policy documents
Submission of data to the UK OHCAO registry is supported by government policy documents and clinical quality guidelines from the Association of Ambulance Chief Executives (AACE) National Cardiac Leads and the Resuscitation Council (UK).
