- Export as iCalendar
Location: Online - MS Teams

It is a great privilege to have Liz O'Riordan, author and podcast host, talk to Warwick Medical Students about breast cancer from both a patient and surgeon perspective, as well as Women in Surgery.

About Liz O'Riordan: "For as long as I can remember, all I’ve ever wanted to do is to help people. It’s why I became a breast surgeon. Ironically I ended up getting breast cancer three times. I was forced to retire at the age of 45 and had to find a new purpose in life. By speaking and writing about my experiences as a doctor and a patient, I’ve been able to change the landscape of cancer care. I talk about the things that no-one else will, like sex and death. My mission is fill the knowledge gap between the hospital and the home, as a globally trusted resource that feels like a friend in your pocket."

Liz O'Riordan Talk details in the text of page.
