Cultural Societies at Warwick Medical School
In conjunction with the Many cultural societies at the main University of Warwick Campus, There are also a range of cultural societies that our medical students (especially those from international background) can engage in. These societies can help you feel more at home during your time here at Medical school and also help you keep in touch with important festivals, events, gatherings and feeling of community that matter to you. Wilderness Society
Wilderness is all about getting out and having outdoor adventures as well as learning lots of exciting pre-hospital and expedition medicine skills.
We organise walk and pub lunches, talks by expedition medics, our famous weekend trips, as well as teach activities like climbing, slacklining, or mountain biking. We also teach lots of wilderness medicine, taking people through the basics of an out-of-hospital A to E assessment, to simulated scenarios, all the way to taking teams to the national pre-hospital medicine competition every year!
Absolutely everyone is welcome regardless of interest or experience, whether you want to get out for your first outdoor activity and want some guidance or you’re a seasoned mountaineer, we’d love you to join!

Students for Global Health Warwick
Students for Global Health is a student-led organisation dedicated to raising awareness of global health inequalities and advocating for equitable access to healthcare worldwide.
It empowers students to make a positive impact through education, campaigning, advocacy and community action, addressing issues such as health inequity, climate change and social justice.

We are a space for Christian medical students to support each other through the journey of medical school and combine our faith with our practice as medics.

Peer Teaching Network
There’s a community with Warwick’s medical students...
...shown with how willing everyone is to support each other to get through the course. Our Peer Teaching is a great tradition – teaching the cohort after you all the summaries, mnemonics, and tricks we pass down (or newly create).
These sessions have fostered real friendships, across cohorts, and the encouragement of the Peer-Teachers helps you realise – you are learning the lectures, even when you feel overwhelmed!

We aim to provide academic support, social events and outreach opportunities to Muslim students at WMS.
