Clinical Audit
A Clinical Audit is a quality improvement process that measures current patient care and outcomes against agreed standards of best practice.
As part of your GP placement in Phase 2, you are required to conduct a clinical audit. You can conduct the audit with your clinical partner, however the final report must be written individually.
You may identify an area of interest to conduct your clinical audit on.If you have a topic in mind, feel free to discuss it with the GP practice you will be at.
Alternatively see if there are any audit topics which the GP practice have identified that need help carrying out.
