Peer Teaching
There’s a community with Warwick’s medical students...
...shown with how willing everyone is to support each other to get through the course. Our Peer Teaching is a great tradition – teaching the cohort after you all the summaries, mnemonics, and tricks we pass down (or newly create).
These sessions have fostered real friendships, across cohorts, and the encouragement of the Peer-Teachers helps you realise – you are learning the lectures, even when you feel overwhelmed!
Student Sems are Phase II student groups summarising long lectures, core concepts, and 'high-yield' facts for Phase I's every week.

Clinical Skills
ClinSkills SocLink opens in a new window host a weekly Sem to practice examinations and consultations, and give feedback on your techniques.
NonScience Peer Teaching is for, and taught by, students without a biological science background – though all students are still welcome!
SurgSocLink opens in a new window run their famous round-up Anatomy Days each Block, host career talks, and local surgeons deliver surgical skills workshops!
RMD Warwick has senior WMS students teach BLS, AED use, and bystander First Aid to Phase I's - but it's open to other years and Warwick courses.

PALs is a 3-level certified course, run by students and taught by lecturers - training students how to teach.
