MOAC annual conference: Congratulations to the winners of the poster competition
Many congratulations to those students who won prizes for their poster presentation, which took place at the MOAC annual conference from 28-31 May 2013 at the Coalbrookdale YHA.
The winners are as follows....
PhD poster prizes:
1st : Claire Dow
2nd : Chris Smith
3rd: Anthony Nash
MSc poster prizes:
1st : Daniel Griffiths
2nd : Katherine Lloyd
MOAC student, Dan Pearce, wins the Award for best presentation at the id2 conference 2013.
The title of Dan's talk was "Flocking: It's as simple as black and white".
It examined how groups of animals share information.

Faculty Thesis Prize
Rob Deller, MOAC student won a Faculty Thesis prize. Please see link for futher details.
SLS Symposium - Jack Heal and Steve Norton win a prize!
MOAC PhD student, Amy O'Reilly, organised the School of Life Sciences annual postgraduate symposium, which this year took place from 18-20th March.
Many MOAC students attended and took part- Steve Norton won a poster prize and Jack Heal won a prize for his talk.
Congratulations to them both!
