PhD project title: "An investigation into the RNA-binding protein UNR and its interactors"
(based in the Anderson Lab, School of Life Sciences, University of Warwick, England)
Supervised by: Drs. Emma Anderson and Sascha Ott

My PhD project
The main aim of my research was to identify previously undocumented UNR-interacting proteins and transcripts using ribonuleoprotein immunoprecipitation followed by mass spectrometry and RNA-Seq. Another aim was to identify proteins that have their expression modulated by UNR. In order to discover such proteins, siRNA-mediated knockdown of UNR followed by mass spectrometry was undertaken.
My PhD was awarded on 10/07/2017. My thesis can be downloaded here and can be referenced using the following persistent and citable URL: http://wrap.warwick.ac.uk/91504/.
My degree qualifications:
PhD in Systems Biology: University of Warwick (thesis submitted December 2016, degree awarded July 2017, formal graduation January 2018)

Due to the closure of the Systems Biology DTC, I was moved to the Department of Computer Science for administrative purposes (along with Sascha). That meant that my Systems Biology PhD was actually awarded through the Department of Computer Science.

Due to the recent completion of my doctorate, I will soon lose my university login and, with that, my ability to update this page.
