My Background

I'm currently doing my PhD under the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia scholarship scheme. Before that, I was working as a lecturer at Universiti Malaysia Perlis from December 2004 - June 2008, attached to the School of Mechatronic Engineering. I taught several courses there, including Statics, Sensors & Measurement, Fundamental of Electrical Engineering to Mechanical Engineering students and also supervised undergraduate students' Final Year Project as well as co-supervising Masters research. I was also the Programme Chairperson for the Mechatronic Engineering programme.

Previously, I worked as a Teaching Engineer also at Universiti Malaysia Perlis right after I finished my BEng (Mechatronics) (Hons) study from International Islamic University Malaysia. Then, I pursued my MEng at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia under the university's scholarship scheme. Towards the end of my Masters, I had the chance to conduct my research on the application of microsensors for thermal comfort modelling at Cologne University of Applied Sciences, Germany for 3 months, under the supervision of Prof. Karl Kohlhof.
