Hello everyone!

I am an EngD Reseach student in the Materials and Manufacturing Department of WMG.

I studied a mechanical engineering degree in my native Spain (when the future looked rosy), after which I moved to Britain.

Once I finished my studies at Edinburgh Napier University, I went on to work as transmissions stress engineer at AgustaWestland Helicopters.

Four years and two kids later, I felt the need for a greater professional challenge and joined WMG and OLEO Int. as an EngD candidate.

Since 2011 I am involved in the design of energy absorbers/anticlimbers for railway vehicles.
