Personal Statement

I am a logical thinker, with a keen interest in mathematics and strive to see problems through to completion. I work well with all levels of staff within a company, working proficiently in a group and also extremely well under my own initiative, but I am not scared to ask for support or advice when it is required. I see myself as an excellent communicator and am not afraid to lead. I have had vast experiences with computers and am very able to use a wide selection of programs.

I am currently extensively using the FEA package LS-DYNA. Modules I most enjoyed and achieved highly in during my undergraduate were Computing 1, Computing 2 and Integrated Building Design. The computing modules incorporated programming in C++, the building design required extensive use of Autodesk, specifically Revit MEP, design software used to model the building including all mechanical and electrical services.
