James Goulding (University of Nottingham)

James is a Computer Science Fellow at the University of Nottingham. He has a BSc in Econometrics and following award of his PhD in Data Theory in 2008, has specialized in novel forms of data science: analysis, visualization and mining of massive data sets, focusing on extracting value from the digital shadow. He manages the recently funded RCUK DE project "Opening Developing Markets via Big Data and Collaboration" and three EPSRC funded projects covering different aspects of this field: Neo-demographics, Information Geology and Projected Augmented Relief Models.

James is a member of the Horizon Digital Economy Institute, University of Nottingham.
