Yale University Press has announced The Yale-Hoover Series on Stalin, Stalinism, and the Cold War. Four books will launch the series. Guns and Rubles: The Defense Industry in the Stalinist State, edited by Mark Harrison, will appear in August, 2008, followed, in October, by The Lost Politburo Transcripts: From Collective Rule to Stalin's Dictatorship, edited by Paul R. Gregory and Norman Naimark, and in November, by Master of the House: Stalin and His Inner Circle, by Oleg V. Khlevniuk, and Terror by Quota: State Security from Lenin to Stalin (an Archival Study), by Paul R. Gregory.
