Dr. David McArdle
David is a Senior Lecturer in Law at the University of Stirling. He was a founding editor of Entertainment Law and has edited and co-edited several books and journal special issues in the fields of sports law and employment law.
David’s current research interests include risk, litigation and liability for personal injury, comparative perspectives on vicarious liability and disability discrimination law. He is the author of Football, Society and the Law (Cavendish, 2000), has published widely in academic journals and regularly presents papers at prestigious national and international academic conferences, see attached CV. He presently teaches employment law, EU law and competition law at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
