How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

The Future of UK Prisons: A Conversation with Chris Gunderson HMPPS
The recent change of legislation to facilitate prisoner releases under SDS 40 has brought our prisons into sharp focus. In this challenging landscape, HMPPS are committed to enhance the experiences and outcomes for people in our prisons in the short, medium and long term. Chris Gunderson from HMPPS will visit on 29th November to lead an informal discussion forum on the future of prisons in England and Wales. Chris will briefly introduce the challenges of the current delivery landscape and will then then lead a discussion on the following key question for HMPPS to consider: What is the ideal structure of a future prison and what can, should and must it deliver? This is an opportunity to share ideas on potential reforms and to flag opportunities to HMPPS as they map out the direction for prisons in England and Wales.
Date: Friday 29th November, 2024
