Travel and Accommodation Bursary

Travel bursary

A limited bursary is available to assist with accommodation and travel (up to £100 for Travel and up to £150 for accommodation) for those attending the event on the 4th and 5th of March 2025. If you require financial assistance, please complete our Bursary Form. Please note that the bursary amount is limited, and we encourage early submission to secure support. The scheme is open to all event delegates.

Please also note the following: the travel funding is a contribution towards your travel costs and will not cover the full costs due to limited resources.

Due to the University of Warwick Financial Regulations we can only permit reimbursements of expenses at economy class and accommodation in hotels not AirBnBs.

How do I claim?

1. complete our Bursary Form

2. Complete the online claim form

3. Collate all original receipts for all expenditure (not photocopies).

4. Send your completed FP16a form, and all supporting evidence to:

How to complete the form:

Review the University's Expenses guidance and procedures to ensure compliance. Enter the first and last date of the period for which the claim is being made. All claims should be submitted within 3 months of the expenditure being incurred.

Payment:

Payment will be via BACS, unless a specific request is received for payment by cheque. Your remittance advice will be sent by email - please insert your email address if this is your first claim. If you do not have an email address, please enter the address to which you wish your remittance advice to be sent.
