How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

Summer Careers Fair 2023

The Summer Careers Fair is the final Careers Fair of the academic year and offers you the opportunity to meet with a wide range of employers offering graduate positions, internships and work experience opportunities across a variety of sectors. Organisations are attending from the not for profit, media, healthcare, engineering, science and technology sectors as well as education, finance and retail amongst others! Come and explore your options with over 40 employers attending providing something of interest for all students and all degree disciplines! This fair is open to ALL students including Masters and Postgrads. Attending a careers fair will offer the opportunity to explore your career possibilities, investigate roles you maybe interested in applying to as you move towards graduation and find out more about internships and work experience opportunities on offer too.

Routes to qualification as a lawyer - what to do after your degree

Want to qualify as a lawyer and get paid for it? Or fancy £11,400 funding for Masters degree training to become a solicitor or barrister? Find out different ways you can do this with BPP Law School and Warwick's Law Careers Consultant: Graduate Level Solicitor Apprenticeships, SQE preparation, pupillage pathways, vocational and academic masters degrees and lots more. Learn how to choose between the Bar and Solicitor careers, how to improve your employability for the legal field and what skills employers want. Law degree and non-Law degree students welcome.

There will also be the chance to ask any questions that you might have, and get advice from an experienced BPP tutor / former lawyer about your future legal career. The Social Sciences room location will be advertised closer to the time.

Guide to Editing your Writing
Teams

Editing is an academic’s bread and butter, but turning that first draft into a polished essay can be a tricky skill to master. In this one-hour session, we give an introductory guide to editing your academic writing, helping you communicate your written arguments with clarity and precision. You’ll also learn tips and tricks for effective editing and reflect on improving your own practice.

For this session, you will need a sample of your academic writing of at least 250 words. This sample will help us practice editing together and learn from one another’s approaches.
