How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

Careers in Economics Event - Enhancing Your Potential

Over the past few years we have found that students from Warwick’s Economics Department have highly valued the opportunity to meet with employers and former students of the Department to explore the range of economics related careers.

For the 2022-23 academic year, we will be hosting a series of events covering a range of topics. We hope that you take this opportunity to learn about working in various sectors, the skills that employers value in economics graduates and find out more about how to apply for the positions that they offer in their companies.

Enhancing Your Potential and Opportunities

We would like to invite you to an interactive in-person event on Wednesday 22 February to explore how entrepreneurial skills and attitudes can enhance your potential and create opportunities to shape your future in new and exciting ways.

Date: Wednesday 22 February 2023, 3:00 - 5:00pm
Location: FAB0.08, Faculty of Arts Building

The afternoon will be led by Dr Matthew Rogers-Draycott, from Warwick Enterprise, an academic and entrepreneur, he will open proceedings by exploring the skills that you will need to navigate your future and how these are tied to entrepreneurship, and entrepreneurial action. We will then have a short talk on Warwick Enterprise, the services they offer and how they can support students and graduates, Finally we will hear from an Economics Alumni and entrepreneur to explore the lessons that he can teach you, especially how your subject skills can be applied to this kind of activity
