How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

Emotions Reading Group

Join Heather Widdows, Lorenzo Serini and Eliza Little for the Emotions Reading Group.

We will be reading Peter Goldie: The Emotions: A Philosophical Perspective, available on-line from the Warwick library.

Meeting Wednesday mornings 10-11, we will start in Week 2 with the intro and chapter 1, and then one chapter for each subsequent week, finishing in week 9.

Borders, Race, Ethnicity and Migration (BREM) network lunch

The Borders Race Ethnicity and Migration (BREM) network will be hosting the BREM Networking Lunch on the 23rd October, 1:00-2:00 pm, Room FAB2.31. This will be an opportunity to meet and get to know other BREM members, chat about collaboration opportunities, and discuss further BREM activities for this year. PAT Dogs Visit

Pets As Therapy (PAT) is a national charity, working to enhance health and wellbeing in the community through the visits of volunteers with their pets. They provide this service in hospitals, hospices, nursing and care homes, special needs schools and a variety of other venues all across the UK. PAT volunteers will bring their dogs to Law School to give you a chance to meet them and have some puppy cuddles. 🐶🐶🐶

To help us manage the event and keep everyone safe, it is essential that you BOOK YOUR PLACE to see the dogs.

Alumni Career Journeys - 23 October 2024

The Department of Economics is excited to to host the first of our Alumni Career Journeys events for this term.

Over the past few years, we have found that students from Warwick's Economics Department have highly valued the opportunity to meet with former students of the Department to explore the range of economics-related careers that could be available to them. We hope that you take this opportunity to learn about working in various sectors and the skills that employers value in Economics graduates, and to find out more about how to apply for the positions that are on offer.

Our Alumni Career Journeys event will take place on Wednesday 23 October, with a panel session from 3.00-3.45pm, followed by a chance to network with our alumni with refreshments.

Please note these events are for current students only.

Introduction by Dr Subham Kailthya, Academic Careers Co-ordinator and Q&A facilitated by Stephanie Redding, Senior Careers Consultant.

We'll tell you all about the roles and responsibilities of the trainees working on the deal and you'll have the opportunity to ask questions to the partner, associates and trainees who worked on the case.
