Portrait of Professor Naomi Eilan

The portrait of Professor Eilan was painted by Rosemary Kay, a writer best known for her novels, and was commissioned in 2022 by Tess Adkins, then Senior Tutor at King’s College, Cambridge. Following its completion, discussions arose over where the work should be displayed. A compromise was eventually agreed: the portrait would alternate between Tess Adkins’s home and the sitter’s, spending six months in each. It is currently on proud display in the latter.
