PPE Graduation 2019

Congratulations to all our Final Year PPE students who graduated from the University on Thursday 18 July 2019. Before their Graduation ceremony graduates, along with their family and friends, were invited to join academic and administrative staff from PPE to celebrate their graduation success and achievements for a celebratory lunch, drinks and prize-giving in Panorama, Rootes Building.

Director of PPE, Chris Anderson, welcomed graduates and their guests to the reception and congratulated all our finalists on their hard work and achievements. Prizes were presented to a number of our finalists during the reception. Ronja Griep, Elena Lopez Serrano, Amelie Mennerich, Griffin Tory and Haoyang Wang were all awarded this year’s PPE Examiner’s prize for their outstanding academic achievement during the course of this academic year. Very many congratulations to you all!

Special recognition was also given to Neville Lai, one of our Final Year PPE students, who won an Outstanding Student Contribution Award (OSCA)! Neville thanked his family for all their support and encouragement during his time at Warwick, as well as thanking Clare Watters (Academic Administrator) and Kirk Surgener (PPE DSEP) for their help. Congratulations once again Neville, we look forward to hearing about what you get up to next!

We were pleased to thank many PPE students that have helped develop the PPE programme, who helped grow the PPE community and worked as PPE student ambassadors. Special thanks were given to Salko Kadic for his excellent work as the PPE Society President and Hasan Ebrahim for his secretarial work for the Student-Staff Liaison Committee and his continued work on developing student well-being and support. All those involved in the PPE society were also thanked, especially for the support they offer to PPE students and the excellent events they organised throughout the year. And lastly all PPE student ambassadors were thanked for their continued work and support, particularly for their valuable help on Open Days!

Thank you to everyone that came along, we had a wonderful day celebrating with all our new graduates and their family and friends.

Congratulations to all our graduates! We wish you all the very best of luck for the future.
