Dr Stephen Connelly and Dr Celine Tan of Warwick Law School have supported the Jubilee Debt Campaign with an academic opinion on the legislative, regulatory, and voluntary options by which “secret loans” and non-transparent lending could be curtailed.

Dr Maebh Harding from Warwick Law School comments on the UK reforms of divorce law, which will see couples able to state that the marriage has broken down irretrievably rather than one spouse alleging adultery or unreasonable behaviour by the other for divorce proceedings to begin.

Warwick Law School Associate Professor Dr Jane Bryan has been shortlisted for the 2019 Law Teacher of the Year Award.

The award, which aims to recognise the best talent in law teaching, called for nominations from both staff and students at the end of last year and Jane has made the finals along with four other shortlisted candidates.
