Enhancement Support Tutor scheme in SELCS
An Enhancement Support Tutor is available to all students across SELCS (Applied Linguistics, Education Studies, the Centre for Teacher Education, and the Centre for Lifelong Learning). This support is designed for times when a student may need a little more guidance or tailored help, for example to enhance their understanding of a particular topic or if fulfilling the requirements of an assignment is challenging.
Our enhanced support tutoring is delivered by trained and experienced doctoral (PhD) students who understand the challenges of academic study and are well placed to offer additional, flexible, and responsive support. Whether a student would like help navigating their studies, developing academic skills, or simply talking through an issue with someone who understands the SELCS student experience, this is a valuable opportunity to access one-to-one or small group academic support.
