Writing Surgeries

When: First two weeks of Term 2- Weeks 15(w/c 6 Jan 2025) &16(w/c 13 Jan 2025)

Writing surgeries are 20-minute individual appointments designed for you to bring a sample of your writing to discuss. This could be a piece for which you’ve received feedback or work you’re preparing to submit.

How to Book:

What We Can Offer:

• Specific guidance on English language aspects of your writing.
• Personalized feedback based on the sample you bring.

Please note: We are unable to proofread essays during the surgeries but can provide specific language guidance. If you can’t attend at the listed times, email us, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.

EAP Workshops

When: From Week 17(w/c 20 Jan 2025) to Week 24(w/c 10 Mar 2025)

What are EAP Workshops?

Our EAP (English for Academic Purposes) workshops are one-hour academic English sessions designed specifically for international students whose first language is not English.

What to Expect:

• Focus on your needs: Workshops are student-centred and designed to target your specific academic challenges in Speaking & Listening and Writing & Reading skills
• No booking required: Simply attend the sessions that suit your schedule and please bring along your electronic device to scan the QR codes displayed on the screen during the classes.
• There are multiple sessions for same theme every week so you are welcome to join the one that best fits your schedule.
