A Successful Programme

Taiwan Visit (News Banner)

Welcoming students from Taiwan...

We were delighted to welcome 29 students to campus last week (31 July & 1st August) to participate in our first Business Enterprise and Academic Insight Programme. The course, designed by colleagues within Warwick Foundation Studies, saw students develop key presentation, research, budgetary and ICT skills through a six-hour group exercise culminating in a business enterprise pitch. Students also attended two academic taster sessions in Economics and Computer Science, explored the University campus and attended a networking dinner at Scarman House.

It was brilliant to meet so many enthusiastic and engaged young people and to share my own experiences of life at Warwick with the group. I am always so impressed by how much work students can squeeze into such a short period of time - the business presentations were excellent...its no wonder it took our panel so long to crown a winner!
