WBS 0.004 in 360 degree glory. - Spherical Image - RICOH THETA

Overview:

An innovative shallow-tiered 120 seat lecture theatre allowing for lectures and group work within one space. Students are able to face forward for teaching and then quickly to move into groups of 10 for syndicate work. Each group has access to a computer and large LCD monitor if required.

Equipment:

• Triple projection allowing for the simultaneous showing of two different sources (e.g. PowerPoint and Visualiser)
• Overhead visualiser pointing down at a large glass whiteboard
• HDMI and VGA laptop inputs
• Echo360 lecture capture available
• Laptop presentation possible from either lectern
• Centre syndicate screens can be raised/lowered using the local switch just in front of the screen
• Note there are no wall-mounted whiteboards for teaching although there is a single whiteboard behind the lectern for small group usage (e.g. if a student asks a question after the full lecture has finished).
