It gives us great pleasure to invite you to join us for the M&A Conference London in April, 2019. We are excited to welcome you to The City, where our goal is to have you experience a wonderful event both professionally and personally.
In keeping with the conference theme – “Mergers & Acquisitions: State of the Art in Research and Practice” – this event will provide a truly unique opportunity for academics and practitioners to join forces and share insights, verify research findings projects, develop new ideas, and explore important open questions related to different themes in M&A. There are four key themes to discuss frontiers on strategic and behavioral issues, the role of context, and best practices for today’s M&A to succeed. Each of the four key themes will feature keynotes by leading practitioners and academics, there are keynotes panels, interactive sessions with top thinkers on M&A, and lots of opportunities to learn across the worlds of practice and academia.
The Program Chairs particularly welcome proposals focused on new and emerging ideas related to the four themes. Submissions from both practitioners and academics are welcomed. Conference attendees will also have the opportunity to attend keynote presentations by some of the most influential practitioners and scholars on these M&A topics.
The conference site will be organized in London’s tallest building “The Shard”, which is a mere few stops from many of London’s top sites. We invite you to extend your trip either before or after the conference to take advantage of some of the many popular attractions in and around the city. With the conference following the Easter (Monday) break, attendees will be spoiled for choice, with access to museums, shopping, and other activities London has to offer!
