Our collaborations with Chinese academic institutions span both research and education. They range from joint undergraduate research projects through to externally-funded UK-China research consortia - and involve a broad range of academic disciplines.
Our researchers work with China’s top universities including Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Tsinghua University, Peking University and the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Together, these researchers are publishing their discoveries in top international research publications and training the next generation of world-leading researchers.

Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU)
Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) enjoys a long history and a world-renowned reputation. Through some 120 years of unremitting efforts, SJTU has become a comprehensive, research-oriented, and internationalised top university in China.
Fudan University
In November 2022 a Memorandum of Understanding was renewed between Warwick and Fudan University recognising the value of the mutual development of our common strengths and complementary portfolios. The two world-class universities are committed to designing and developing new research projects, exchanging academic information and staff and student exchange.

Low carbon workshops with Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU)
SJTU has become an important epicentre for science and technology research in China, and in April 2022 we extended our partnership with them on joint research and teaching for five years.
