Global Partner Scholars Summer Celebration 2023

As our scholars come towards the end of their time at Warwick, we invite everyone to celebrate their success and consider how to navigate life after Warwick. At the event scholars learnt about the benefits of remaining connected to Warwick through the alumni community and accessed advice from former scholars on our alumni panel who understand how recent graduates might be feeling as they prepare to return home. These alumni gave tips on how to handle the reintegration into life at home, job hunting and using the scholar network to your advantage.

• Anne Wilson, Head of Careers delivered a workshop on personal brand to help our scholars prepare to re-enter the workplace.
• Staff from the Doctoral College were available to share information about applying for PhD study in the UK with funding attached.
• Colleagues from Alumni were available to answer any questions about how to register and Warwick alumni benefits.
• A professional photographer captured individual headshots for our scholars to use on LinkedIn or job applications, without charge.
• All scholars were treated to a delicious afternoon tea and opportunity to network.
