2025 National Budget Roundtable and panel discussion
On 3rd April 2025, The Warwick Africa Hub and Covenant University, Nigeria are co-organising the annual National Budget Roundtable and Panel Discussion.
Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, Nigerian Federal Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction will be giving the keynote address on the theme of 'National budgeting as a critical tool for reducing poverty and inequalities in the era of energy transitions.
Speaking at the event, Prof. Franklyn Lisk, Deputy Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Africa, will share highlights from Warwick's research and education partnership with Covenant University in the context of economic development planning goals and objectives. He will share learnings from our established collaborative activities in the areas of Politics and Economics.
