Madhury was invited to the service as a country representative of one of the 56 Commonwealth nations. Seated on the front row, Madhury said "This was a great honour to celebrate The Commonwealth Day Service of Celebration 2023 in the presence of King Charles III, other royal family members, diplomats and representatives of different countries. I was invited as a Commonwealth Scholar and a representative of my home country Bangladesh, and I am thankful to the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission and the Royal Commonwealth Society for giving me such an opportunity."

2023, designated ‘Year of the Youth’ by the Commonwealth Heads, marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Commonwealth Youth Programme. The celebration provided a moment to recognise and celebrate the important contribution and positive impact of young leaders, scholars and youth-led initiatives.
