One in three self-assessment taxpayers under-report, costing government £8 billion a year, Warwick study finds

A third of self-assessment taxpayers do not pay as much tax as they should, meaning the Treasury is missing out on £8 billion a year. This contributes to the annual “tax gap” of more than £30 billion revenue that goes uncollected. £22m battery and thermal energy facilities launch at the University of Warwick, for a cleaner greener future

Two research centres for sustainable electrical and thermal energy technologies totalling £22m are launching at WMG, University of Warwick on the 10th June 2019. The funding from government via the Energy Research Accelerator (ERA) sees UK Government, industry and higher education work together to shape the future of the UK’s energy landscape.
