UK to tackle danger of the solar wind and find new Earth-like planets

The Science Minister announced the UK’s agreement with partners including the European Space Agency in a mission, called Planetary Transits and Oscillations of stars (PLATO) scientifically led by the University of Warwick, which will search for Earth-like planets orbiting alien stars.

'No deal' Brexit could put almost 20 per cent of UK jobs at risk, finds new study

In a new study, experts from Aston Business School, Warwick Business School, and the University of Warwick's Institute for Employment Research have found that a hard Brexit could disproportionately hurt economically weaker regions of the UK and recommend that a post-Brexit regional industrial strategy should focus on sectors where free trade with the EU is less important.


New clinical trial aims to find the best way to feed premature babies

A large clinical trial involving around 40 hospitals in the UK, as well as health economists from the University of Warwick, is to investigate the best way to feed babies who are born between 10 and 7 weeks prematurely.


Death of Professor Lord Bhattacharyya

It is with the deepest regret that we report that Professor Lord Bhattacharyya, Chairman of WMG at the University of Warwick, passed away on Friday 1st March after a short illness. His passing was peaceful and he was with his family, who are in our thoughts and prayers.
