WMG data specialists helps streamline production at Warwickshire brewer

Purity Brewing Ltd is a small brewer based on a farm between Studley and Great Alne not far from Stratford upon Avon.  Sales continue to boom, which means constantly balancing the production of their beers with growing customer demand. The company turned to the SME team in WMG at the University of Warwick to help develop data systems to manage this complex operation while they get on with brewing the beer.

Big isn’t always best: what determines investment in new technology?

In 16th century Portugal, the crown’s preferences favoured enormous ships that carried merchandise but also projected royal glory and prestige rather than serving purely market oriented objectives. This technological choice resulted in Portugal losing its leadership in world trade to the Dutch, according to research by Dr Claudia Rei of the University of Warwick being presented today to the Royal Economic Society annual conference.


University of Warwick launches major teaching and research collaboration with partners in Paris and Brussels

The University of Warwick has today, Wednesday 28th March 2018, signed and launched two major teaching and research collaborations with partner universities and colleges in Paris and Brussels.
