The University of Warwick ranked in the following categories in the 2026 StudentCrowd University Awards:

  • ‘Best Overall University’ (5th)
  • ‘Campus and Facilities’ (6th)
  • ‘Clubs and Societies’ (6th)
  • ‘Teaching Quality’ (7th)
  • 'Course Content' (8th)
  • 'Careers Service' (11th)

The StudentCrowd Awards are based on verified reviews submitted by students using university email addresses, providing a direct measure of how students rate their academic, social, and campus experience. For the 2026 awards, over 700 Warwick students submitted ratings, with Warwick averaging 4.37 out of 5 stars.

A Warwick student described their experience: “I have really enjoyed my time at Warwick, with lots of opportunities for socialising and meeting a variety of people through sports clubs and societies geared towards a range of interests. The vast facilities available are tailored towards a whole host of activities, meaning I was able to explore my artistic interests in fashion, music and art in conjunction with my studies.”

Warwick’s rise from 9th to 5th in the UK continues a period of strong momentum and performances across major national and international rankings and awards. Recently, Warwick climbed to 68th in the QS World University Rankings 2027; was ranked 7th in the UK and top in the Midlands in the Complete University Guide 2027; was named University of the Year at the Student Social Mobility Awards; and was recognised as Institution of the Year at the UK Council for International Student Affairs (UKCISA) awards.

Commenting on the performance, Professor Michael Scott, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (International) and Institutional Lead for Rankings, University of Warwick, said: “This result reflects the dedication of colleagues across the University, our Students’ Union, and our wider community in creating an environment where students – wherever they come from – can thrive academically, socially, and personally.

“To hear our students speaking so fondly of Warwick makes this recognition especially meaningful. Their experiences, opinions, and feedback is vital, so to be thought of so warmly by those who know Warwick best is a huge tribute.

“This StudentCrowd ranking is another positive step forward for Warwick, showcasing that across our world-class research and transformative teaching, we are an internationally-leading University.”

Another Warwick student said: “I enjoy studying at this university. The teachers are supportive, the campus is welcoming, and the courses are useful. I have learned a lot and made good friends here.”

For the 2026 awards, StudentCrowd analysed 41,955 reviews submitted by students across the UK over a two-year period. The full StudentCrowd rankings are available online.
