Increased Traffic during Degree Congregation (23-24 January)

During the University's Winter Degree Congregations (23 – 24 January 2008), there will be increased traffic in and around the campus. Visitors to the campus are advised to leave extra time for their journey.

There will be two ceremonies on 23 January; one at 11.00 and one at 15.00, and one ceremony on 24 January at 11.00. It is therefore estimated that the peak time for traffic arriving on the campus will be during the morning and evening rush hours.

On the 23 and 24 January, the following restrictions on parking will be in place:

  • Car Park 15 will be used for graduands and guests parking.
  • Car Park 16 will also be used for graduands and guests parking.
  • Car Park 5 (and Car Park 7 if needed) will be reserved for disabled graduands and guests.
