Are You an Undiscovered Cocktail Genius?

Fancy yourself as a cocktail waiter? Are you a master of mixology?

Would you like to show off your Tom Cruise-style skills in the Big Bash 2003 Cocktail Competition?

As the warmer weather hits us here are some cocktail recipes to get you in the mood:

Virgin Pina Colada –

6 oz. pineapple juice, 2 oz. coconut cream, 1 cup ice (crushed)
Pour all ingredients into a blender. Blend well at high speed. Pour drink into a glass and garnish with a pineapple slice and a maraschino cherry.

Capucine -

Shake together one part peppermint cordial and four parts fresh cream. Strain and add crushed ice. Finely grate a little plain chocolate over the top.

Sangreeta –

1.5 tblsp Grenadine, 2 tblsp fresh Lime juice, 12oz Orange juice, 1 tsp to taste Tabasco. Shake with ice.

Cardinal Punch –

Over ice cubes pour four parts cranberry juice, two parts orange juice, one part lemon juice and ginger ale to top up. Garnish with fruit and serve with straws.

Mickey Mouse -

Pour cola over ice cubes, than add a scoop of soft vanilla ice cream, top with whipped cream and two cherries, serve with a straw and a spoon.

(Although all these recipes are non-alcholic competition entries may contain alcohol.)
