An outstanding autumn of theatre at Warwick Arts Centre promises critically acclaimed and award winning drama.

The autumn season opens with the The Young Vic Theatre Company's new adaptation of Hobson's Choice in October. Set in contemporary Salford's Asian Community this is an upbeat retelling of a classic theatre show with a cast that includes Coventry actress and star of Bend it Like Beckham, Paven Virk.

October also sees the award winning Royal National Theatre production of Vincent in Brixton. Directed by Richard Eyre the production tells the story of Vincent van Gough as a young man about to embark on a life journey from Brixton to genius, immortality and madness.

The Arts Centre will be one of only 4 UK performances for Alladeen, a large-scale cross-media collaboration, mixing new video techniques, electronic music, an architectural set and live performance in a work that transports us to the global hybrid cities of New York, London and Bangalore. Alladeen is a truly spectacular piece of theatre, taking the themes of desire, wish fulfilment and the age-old Arabian Nights tale into the age of global communications.

Kneehigh Theatre will be returning following their unforgettable Spring performance The Red Shoes. Cry Wolf promises a wild, rude, blood-chilling and hilarious evening.

November sees the return of the critically acclaimed and multi-award winning English Touring Theatre, having delighted Warwick audiences last year with the award winning King Lear, starring Timothy West, with a dazzling major new production of Shakespeare's greatest love story. Regarded as the ultimate and tragic love story of all time, Romeo and Juliet encapsulates the clash between youthful idealism and the real world.

All of these productions, and more, are on sale now, so to book tickets or find out more, call Warwick Arts Centre Box Office on 024 7652 4524 or check the website at www.warwickartscentre.co.uk
