On Monday 28 July the new look Library web site will go live in Sitebuilder. The Library have been working hard to move their site, possibly the largest individual site in the University, into Sitebuilder.

The Library site's new look is in line with the University's corporate web style and although it will look quite different, the structure will be principally the same. Some small changes have been made to make the site easier to use.

For those of you who have bookmarks to commonly used pages within the site, such as the Electronic Resources page, redirects have been set up to send you automatically to the correct page on the new version of the site. If you have a link or a bookmark to a less commonly used page you will be redirected to the Library homepage from where it should be easy to find the page you require.

The homepage URL will remain http://library.warwick.ac.uk

Robin Green, Head of Information Services at the Library, said "For beginners, Sitebuilder makes creating Web pages and adding extra touches like lists very easy. Its standard approach will bring significant benefits for us in being able to share training and experience across groups of staff."

Sitebuilder is available now, at no charge, for any academic or admin-related website within the university. If you are interested in using SiteBuilder for your web site, or you'd like to learn more, please contact elab at elab@warwick.ac.uk
