Following the call for nominations in the last edition of CommUnicate for appointment of one member of the Assembly to the Senate, Professor A Phizacklea of the Department of Sociology has been elected in accordance with Regulation 3.3 to serve as a representative of the Assembly on the Senate for the period to 30 September 2004.
