Two Warwick students will be raising money for Age Concern later this year by taking part in a 400km sponsored cycle along the Nile.

Whilst most people will be thinking about holidays and relaxing over the summer, final year students Tessa Hood and Catherine Crudge will be preparing for their epic adventure by hitting the roads and putting in the miles.

The trip will take them along the banks of Nile and through some of the most famous sites in Egypt and Tessa is expecting it to be a little different to cycling up and down Gibbet Hill Road.

Both Tessa and Catherine are looking for sponsors to raise money for Age Concern. Age Concern has been helping older people across the UK for more than 60 years providing high-quality help and care for older people. The students hope to raise at least £2500 each. Tessa explained how people could support them: "People can either support us by donating at http://www.bmycharity.com/ageconcern or email us at tesspot81@hotmail.com".
