The Warwick Skills Certifiate has a range of weekend intensive courses coming up that might meet your needs and it's not too late to enrol. Coming up in Spring 2004:

Communication Skills (End of Week 6: Fri 13th and Sat 14th Feb 2004). This course looks at assertiveness, participation in meetings, and giving presentations. An excellent starter to gain confidence in expressing yourself more effectively in personal and professional situations.

Time Management and Team work (End of Week 7: Fri 20th and Sat 21st Feb) - a real confidence booster, and an asset to your CV for evidence of group work and communication skills.

Enterprise and Entrepreneurs Part One (End of Week 8: Fri 27th and Sat 28th Feb 2004) - If you've ever thought of running your own business this course is a must! Gain understanding and insight into what makes businesses tick and look at how to turn a business idea into an opportunity for the future. (This course runs in two parts, Part Two will take place Fri 7th and Sat 8th May 2004)

Problem Solving and Team work (End of Week 9: Fri 5th March and Sat 6th March) - based on a practical archeology project you will develop your team working skills and gain some insight into the work of archeology - no prior knowledge is needed.

Acting Up - Fun With Focus! ( planning ahead for the SUMMER TERM - End of Week 3: Fri. 7th May and Sat. 8th May 2004) - gain confidence in expressing your ideas and working collaboratively with others, enjoy a flirtation with drama skills. Absolute beginners especially welcome.
